Access Plates Installation
We use SeaBuilt Access Plates
Access is the most important aspect in every tank cleaning. When there is limited fuel tank access, Dr. Fuel Clean can provide and/or install an access or inspection plate to allow for quick and easy Diesel Fuel Servicing.
Easy installation allows repeated access. Isolation from tank eliminates electrolysis problems. External and internal gaskets means no messy gasket compound required!
Compatible with many Diesel Tank materials including: Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Iron, Stainless Steel, Monel, Fiberglass, and Poly.
Access Plate Specs:
Materials:
Access plate made from 6061-T6 Aluminum -or- 304 Polished Stainless Steel (Water/Holding/Diesel Only). Gasket made from 3/32 70-D Buna-N. All fasteners stainless steel.
Available Sizes:
- 6″ Access Plate System (with 4″ cutout)
- 8″ Access Plate System (with 6″ cutout)
- 10″ Access Plate System (with 8″ cutout)
- 14″ Access Plate System (with 12″ cutout)
- 21″ Access Plate System (with 18″ cutout)
Note: Never install the Access Plate System on tanks containing gasoline or other highly flammable liquids or gasses.
